Just returned from a great 2 week trip to Tonga and had the pleasure of 3 flights on Chathams Air. My husband and I have traveled extensively and used many small domestic airlines throughout the world. Chathams Pacific was, without a doubt, the best airline we have used. We had all flights booked from Auckland to Vava'u, and our international flight was rescheduled meaning we would miss the scheduled local Chathams Pacific flight and lose one day of our sailing holiday.

After querying into the flexibility of the flights, Chathams Pacific were amazing and changed the local schedule slightly to meet our international flight. We have told so many friends of the great service and remain grateful for the airlines flexibility.

We had a wonderful holiday in Vava'u and feel very lucky to have experienced the wonderful hospitality of both your airline and the people of Tonga.

Without Chathams we would not be able to operate the way we do.

The years before Chathams were a nightmare in terms of wholesaler and travel agent’s confidence in the local tongan airlines.  That has changed and we are now able to discuss packages and so forth with our worldwide network of wholesalers.

Chathams has brought back trust to our customers which allows us to market outer island stays again and much stronger. We can offer packages with close connections to international flights and it works!

The DC3 is the icing on the cake for us in Ha’apai, because no other aircraft would be more suitable to acclimatise guests to Ha’apai as a destination… It is just the laid back style we like to promote for Ha’apai.

The feedback of all our guests is great and everybody is happy to travel with you.

Friendly, considerate and very helpful from the ground handlers to the pilots … all great guys.
