Rugby Union's World Cup visits the home of the All Blacks, New Zealand, in 2011. The world's best teams play matches in cities including Christchurch, Dunedin and Hamilton. The semi-finals and the final are at Eden Park in Auckland.
The teams are divided into four pools of five, after which the top two from each group contest the knockout rounds. The All Blacks play group games against France, Tonga, Canada and Japan.
A total of 48 matches take place throughout September and October - full details of all fixtures are available on the official website. Current holders South Africa won their second world title in France in 2007.
